Morrissey.... Interpol!!!

Morrissey has had his share of issues in the past, but usually it was for not showing up. He showed up!! He sounded really good. The problem with the show was the criminally horrible selection of a set list. He opened with an all time great song in How Soon is Now. I assumed that meant that the rest of the concert was going to be an amazing immersion of myself in a long list of great songs. Problem is that 90% of the songs most of the crowd didn't know. Morrissey has such a great catalog of music to select from that Accidentally, he could have played a full set list of great stuff. The true gut shot was that he even played covers of other bands instead of playing songs the crowd wanted to hear. Totally Baffling. So my rating here, because his voice sounded good, I had to give 2 stars. Set list I would say was a negative 1. Even the Stage showed a lack of creativity with the still images that changed with each song. His effort on this concert was pretty abysmal. But Historically Morrissey and the Smiths were such an integral part of music throughout the years that it would take more than this to diminish that standing.
